The Viva Italia Tour Itinery

Day 1: make your down to the Wishing well with us or on you own travelling through the French regions of the Loire, Charentes & into the Limousin, passing through towns such as the French motor racing Capital of Le-Mans, enjoy the scenery and roads as they change from flat straight roads to the hilly meandering roads of the Limousin region. On arrival at the Wishing Well you will be welcomed with a drink and settled into your room, then a home cooked 3 course meal(wine included) and a chance to get to know others on the Tour.

Day 2: We make our over to the Rhone –Alpes region. Stopping off at"Puy d’Dome", one of the most famous sights, in Auvergne. See the extinct volcanos and spectacular views 1900metres up the Mountain. From here we move on through the region until our destination at Grenoble. A comfortable hotel awaits us and a 3 course evening meal. If you have the energy the city centre is right on hand to stroll and take in the atmosphere of the City.

Day 3: From Grenoble the roads are made for motorcycling, gradually we rise, bend after bend, making our way through the "Gorges de la Romanche" passing over
The"Col du Lautaret"to Briancon. We head into Italy via the "Col de Montgenevre". In Italy we stop to catch our breath and over a drink reflect on the sights we have just seen. Moving on to Pinerolo on the route made famous by the Centopassi motorcycle race, until we reach our day’s destination, the city of Alessandria. Our hotel is in the centre of this 12th city, whose name is derived from pope AlexanderIII. Feel free to explore the city’s wonderful history, relax & enjoy a meal in of the local restaurants at your disposal.

Day 4: We head off into Emilia Romagna Criss-crossing the Apennines Mountains.
As we make our way to our destination resort of " Valbonella"
In the evening we have a regional 3 course meal to look forward to, with wine (one of three meals at "Valbonella" included in the price). Later in the bar we can unwind & discuss the next few days’ events, whether you wish to explore on your own or join the guided rid-outs (included in the price) or just have a day off to relax, the choice is yours.

Day 5,6,7,8: Ride-out & sightseeing to , Sienna, Florence, San Marino, Montepulciano, Arezzo, Perugia & The Apennines passes to name but a few.

Day 9: We leave promptly and head into the Apennines Mountains, a last ride on roads that made some of Italy’s most famous Motorcyclists. Soak up our last look of Tuscany then back to our hotel in Alessandria.Day 10: Today we head for Susa, nr the Italian border and cross into France via the Col du Mont Cenis beautiful alpine roads await us; we then hug the terrain and pass over the "Col du Galibier" towards Briancon and Grenoble. A night’s stay back in Grenoble with a evening meal to finish a remarkable day’s riding.

Day 11: heading back to the Wishing well we will pass through the Massif Central for a look at the Mountains. Your final night will be topped with a home cooked 3 course meal With Wine, in an atmosphere to reflect on the last 11 days events.

Day 12: Sadly homeward bound back to the UK on a different route for a last look at France (unless you’re a glutton for punishment) and wish to stay on for a day or two to enjoy the Wishing Well hospitality and the sights around the Limousin
